When I was first approached with the opportunity to join the Real Estate industry in 2002, I saw the chance... to explore my interests in Marketing while educating myself and others about such a vital aspect in many people's lives.
As a Marketing Manager for the #1 sales team in Northern Kentucky, I was able to learn so many things that most people typically overlook when it comes to one of the most expensive purchases of their lives. Educating myself about materials, systems, the building process, marketing a home for sale and the process of purchasing were just a few of the top things I was able to absorb during the first six years in this industry.
Eventually, I decided it was time to move forward with my career and became a licensed agent in Kentucky. This was a difficult time for Real Estate in our area as the market was beginning to sour from the "boom years" and more and more people were facing difficulty finding or selling their homes. However, it provided me with a prime scenario to experience the difficult market with clients. Foreclosures, short sales, government owned, relocation properties, consumer & corporate owned, as well as rehabbed homes began to flood the market and with each situation was a new learning experience.
Since that time I have been able to hone my skills through experience, and combine the marketing knowledge and sales experience to provide my clients with the best possible outcomes while still educating them about the process they are enduring.
